O presidente Jair Bolsonaro (sem partido) desistiu de protocolar no Senado um pedido de impeachment do ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal Luis Roberto Barroso, segundo informações do colunista do Globo, Lauro Jardim. O recuo teria ocorrido após reunião com ministros da Corte nesta semana, após o presidente pedir o afastamento do ministro Alexandre de Moraes.
O impeachment de Moraes não deve prosperar. R odrigo Pacheco (DEM-MG), presidente da Casa, já afirmou não ver motivos para o impedimento e dificilmente levará o documento para análise dos senadores.
Nesta terça (24), membros da CPI da Covid visitaram Alexandre de Moraes para manifestar apoio ao magistrado após ele expedir mandado de prisão contra o ex-deputado bolsonarista Roberto Jefferson (PTB).
Na segunda-feira (23), o Fórum dos Governadores se encontrou e decidiu pedir uma reunião com Bolsonaro com o intuito de ‘fortalecer’ a democracia . O presidente, porém, não deve aceitar o convite.
